Buzzy as bees just for you

The training package 2007

With the BMFA encouraging clubs to recruit new members Midland area came up with a plan to increase membership of our area clubs . John Bridgett was tasked with formulating a plan. After much debate the idea of sponsoring 10 complete ready to go trainer aircraft was agreed. With help of Ripmax a deal was sealed  to supply a complete package of a Wots Wot trainers powered by Ervine 53 engines with  Futaba radio, receiver and servos included at no cost to the winning clubs. Nothing further required, just build and fly ! What a fantastic package and all that was required was to write to the area secretary Alf Tunnicliffe with reasons why your club should receive the training package

The only stipulation for the training package was that a log book should be kept and that the clubs would report back their successes.

The 10 clubs  selected  were invited to send a delegate to East Kirby to receive the package presented by Robin Gower.

Clubs involved are going to be contacted by Marian Ainsworth to update the are as to how the aircraft preformed and to what was achieved by receiving the package or if you would like to send your own update please contact the admin email address

Further updates will appear soon
